The service
Marqui is a booking service that lets salons take appointments through a WhatsApp booking bot and a booking widget on their website. It is operated by Roman Bitetti, an individual based in Quebec, Canada (“we”, “us”).
Plans, trial and billing
The service is priced per month in Brazilian reais (BRL), based on the number of professionals: R$ 69 for 1 professional, R$ 99 for 2 to 5 professionals, R$ 139 for 6 or more professionals. Every feature is included in every plan.
A new salon gets a 30-day free trial. A payment card is required to start it, and billing only starts after the trial. The monthly plan has no minimum commitment.
A salon can also pay for 1 year upfront, with 10% off, or for 2 years upfront, with 20% off.
Meta bills the WhatsApp messages used to send appointment reminders directly to the salon. That cost is not included in the plan price.
With the 2-year plan, we build and maintain a custom website for the salon for the length of the subscription. The website and its domain belong to Marqui. When the subscription ends, the website is no longer maintained; the salon can offer to buy it.
We work to keep the service available and accurate, but we cannot promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free.
The salon’s responsibilities
Each salon remains responsible for its own relationship with its customers: its services, prices, schedule, honoring the appointments booked, and the information it gives customers about how it uses their data.
The salon agrees to use the service lawfully, including the rules that apply to WhatsApp business messaging, and to keep its sign-in details private.
Personal data
For its customers’ data, the salon is the controller and we act as its processor. Our privacy policy explains what we process and why.
Stopping
A salon on the monthly plan can cancel at any time by writing to us; the 1-year and 2-year plans run for their full term. We may also end a salon’s access; when we do, we will tell the salon as early as we reasonably can.
